Sheri Davidson, L.Ac and owner of Element 5 OM, practices in a boutique-style clinic located in Houston’s charming Rice Village area. She has over 10 years of experience practicing and perfecting the art of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
She began her Traditional Chinese Medical studies in 2000 at the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Houston, Texas. In 2001, she moved to Austin, Texas to earn her Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin. Sheri also completed a six week internship at the Cheng Du University in Cheng Du, China, where she studied under the traditional masters.
Sheri is passionate about Acupuncture and Chinese medicine, but her passion extends beyond the walls of Element 5 OM. She spends most of her time being active. She loves running, cross fit, kickboxing and competitive endurance sports. In October 2014 she completed Ironman Austin 70.3 and will be participating in Ironman Texas 140.2, her first full Ironman. She is also passionate about food and enjoys cooking for family and friends.
Sheri’s philosophy is centered around health and health maintenance. She believes in patient-centered care and focuses on health, not sickness. Her goals are to inspire People to adapt a healthy lifestyle. Her modern approach is rooted in ancient tradition. She achieves this through integrating Western thought with the clinically-proven results of acupuncture and Chinese medicine in a comfortable, professional environment.
“The only way to optimal health is to take care of ourselves everyday emotionally, physically and mentally.”
